Hospitality venues & suppliers
- Extensive experience in public relations and media management, working with venues to promote their profile and community contributions
- Undertaking major market research projects for hospitality & gaming suppliers including Aristocrat, Fosters, Tattersall’s and other major industry suppliers
- Extensive member and non-member market research over many years for most of the large clubs & other venues in Queensland, the ACT & New South Wales.
- Facility research, market demand studies/positioning studies for venues including the Kirribilli Club, Ashfield RSL, Anzac Memorial Club, South Sydney Leagues Club, Sydney Aussie Rules Club and Taree RSL & Golf Club
- Assisting management teams to develop strategic approaches to marketing and promotions and membership acquisition
- Our team has prepared over 140 Community Impact Assessment's (Gaming), Public Interest Assessment's (Liquor) and the NSW equivalent Social Impact Assessment's (Gaming & Liquor). We are the most successful preparer of these assessments in NSW and have enjoyed significant success in other jurisdictions. Our clients include major clubs, hotels and corporate clients such as Woolworths
- Developing and managing major celebrations and events, including 50th anniversary programmes, new facility launches and major charitable events
- Undertake significant needs analysis /community research for venues, councils and hospitality operations including Redcliffe Council, Ipswich Water, Sanctuary Cove and Redcliffe District Rugby League Football Club
- Design & presentation of the GST Education programme for NSW Clubs which involved 70 workshops covering 3,000 managers & directors
- Liquidation experience in the administration, restructuring and liquidation of Registered Clubs
- Audit services to over twenty registered clubs
- We have project managed and assisted over 60 NSW Clubs in completing successful amalgamations
Associations
- Delivered training 'road shows' to the industry body on the impact of new legislation in the industry in the areas of:
- Gaming as a result of the introduction of the Gaming Machines Act
- Club amalgamations as a result of amendments to the Registered Clubs Act
- Corporate governance as a result of amendments to the Registered Clubs Act
- Design & presentation of the ClubsNSW Directors Course for many years
- Co-authored modules of the original Club Directors Institute manual for Directors
- Management of the Gaming Tax Campaign for ClubsNSW for almost three years until its successful conclusion in April 2006
- Design & presentation of modules for the Department of Sport & Recreation Manual & course titled 'It's Your Business'
- Working in partnership with the Leagues Clubs' Association for a number of years with their two annual conferences and other marketing aspects of their work, as well as assisting the NSW Golf Association
- Audit services to the RSL & Services Clubs Association, the peak body for RSL & Services Clubs in the state
Financial institutions
- Provision of information briefings to banks, other accounting firms, solicitors and other parties on industry changes that impact on Registered Clubs
- Provision of pre-lending reports/feasibility studies to assist banks in assessing loan applications from clubs
