Operational EfficiencyThe efficient operation of all trading areas of any business is critical to its financial well being. Clubs are no different - yet in the past it has been commonplace to "accept' that in certain trading areas (such as catering) it is acceptable to tolerate operating losses. We suggest that with continued pressure the financial viability of Clubs, this rationale is no longer valid. Each operational area of any business must contribute to overall profitability.
